The event will bring together representatives from European and national institutions, the financial sector, and the business community, along with international experts, to explore the role of natural capital and biodiversity in shaping economic and financial strategies.

The morning session (9:30 am – 1:00 pm) will feature institutional opening remarks, keynote speeches by international experts, and panel discussions focused on integrating biodiversity into corporate strategies and financial systems. Key topics will include European and international frameworks, as well as practices for measuring and managing impacts on nature, along with the obligations and opportunities for businesses in light of the guidelines of the National Nature Restoration Plans, which are set to be presented in September 2026.

In the afternoon we will present business case studies and best practices (2:30 – 3:30 pm), showcasing examples from companies and sustainability-driven initiatives.

The conference will conclude with a participatory session (3:30 – 4:30 pm), featuring working groups aimed at developing concrete recommendations to accelerate the transition towards nature-positive economic models.

The conference is organized by Nature Positive Network—an initiative of the Sustainable Development Foundation and the Po River District Basin Authority— with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Italy.
The conference is organized into two sessions. Please indicate which session(s) you will be attending
